These have become my default pair since they arrived — the UV400 lenses actually cut glare on bright afternoon walks without making everything look muddy. The aluminum case is a nice touch too, feels sturdy enough to toss in a bag without worrying.
The turmeric gold finish is exactly as vivid in person as it looked online, and the UV400 cat 2 lenses block out harsh midday glare without any distortion. Handmade quality shows in the hinges—they click shut with a satisfying precision that feels proper for the price.
The aluminium case alone feels like it could survive a drop onto pavement, which is exactly what I needed for throwing these in my bag. The UV400 protection is solid, and the handmade finish in London gives them a nice weight without being heavy on my face.
